University Travels and Updates

Hey, everyone! It’s been a while. Just a few quick updates before the main article then.

First up, tomorrow and the 25th of June are special days as we will be doing some outside broadcasts. Starting with tomorrow, the Red Arrows will be flying in Folkestone and I’ll be riding the airwaves at an earlier time of 1PM GMT where we will be going down to the event throughout the show and some of the normal stuff will happen too.

Then on Saturday 25th, it’s Armed Forces day at Radnor Park in Folkestone and we will be there all day! This will be a normal broadcasting day as I’ll be live at 1PM till 3.

So, now that’s all settled. The main attraction: College Finale and University Open Day!

College finally ended last week and I am now officially a week into my summer holiday. With my IT course done, I can now get onto the important thing: Going back to Media!

Last Sunday I went to Canterbury Christ Church University for an Open Day to take a peek at what I’m getting myself into and, to be honest, I just want to get started! Although I’ve now got to get my student card, wait for results and acceptance e-mail and to practice criticising TV shows. (Which I might post here)

All that aside, a few things to add. Firstly, I am going to try and make more YouTube videos throughout the summer for both gaming and vlog channels and finally, I will be on holiday from the 10th to the 21st of July. I’m not sure what will be going on with shows, but I will be taking my camcorder with me on our trip to Spain.

Thanks for reading! Have a great summer! See you soon!

TwitchAlerts are holding an event called 12 Days of Giving! It’s a charity event that lasts for 12 days, supporting a new charity every singe day.

Below are all the details you need!

Between the 1st of December and the 12th, 50% of donations made through here: will go to the charity of that day.

I will be live streaming on all days on from 8PM GMT (3PM EST) on most days. (Check my channel schedule for times) I will personally read every donation message and do QnA’s throughout.

Charity List;

1st – Save the Children

Save the Children invests in childhood — every day, in times of crisis and for our future. In the United States and around the world, we give children a healthy start, the opportunity to learn and protection from harm.

By transforming children’s lives now, we change the course of their future and ours.

Since December 1 is #GamingTuesday all donations up to 100k are doubled!

2nd – Child’s Play

Child’s Play is a game industry charity dedicated to improving the lives of children with toys and games in our network of over 220 facilities worldwide, including hospitals and domestic abuse shelters.

Over the years, you as a community have answered the call and come together to raise millions of dollars.

3rd – Gamechanger

GameChanger Charity’s mission is to improve the lives of children and families suffering from cancer & other life-threatening illnesses.

GameChanger makes an impact by delivering meaningful services directly to hospital patients & staff, awarding financial aid & college scholarships, delivering video game gift packages and hosting unique online gaming events.

4th – St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is leading the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. Everything we do is centered on finding cures and saving children.

St. Jude freely shares the breakthroughs it makes, so doctors and scientists worldwide can use that knowledge to save thousands more children.

5th – Able Gamers

The AbleGamers Foundation, aims to improve the overall quality of life for those with disabilities through the power of video games.

Video games allow individuals with disabilities to experience situations that may be difficult or limited in the real world, provide social networking opportunities to maintain mental and emotional health, and participate in one of the world’s largest pastimes.

6th – International Bipolar Foundation

International Bipolar Foundation (IBPF) was founded in 2007 by four mothers of children diagnosed with bipolar disorder.

Their desire to ensure a better future for their children and others affected by this illness resulted in an organization with the mission to improve understanding and treatment of bipolar disorder through research; promote care and support resources for individuals and caregivers; and erase stigma through education.

7th – Call of Duty Endowment

The Call of Duty Endowment is a nonprofit that helps unemployed veterans get high-quality jobs after their military service. So far, we’ve funded the placement of over 17,000 veterans, but with a high unemployment rate for young vets, there is still more work to do.

8th – SpecialEffect

SpecialEffect works to put fun and inclusion back into the lives of people with physical disabilities by helping them to play video games. By providing access to technology ranging from modified joypads to eye-control, SpecialEffect helps people to play to the very best of their abilities. By leveling the playing field, they aim to bring families and friends together and have a profoundly positive impact on therapy, confidence and rehabilitation.

9th – American Cancer Society

The American Cancer Society is the nationwide, community-based, voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem by preventing cancer, saving lives, and diminishing suffering from cancer, through research, education, advocacy, and service.

10th – Mercy For Animals

Mercy For Animals is dedicated to preventing cruelty to farmed animals and promoting compassionate food choices and policies. We serve as a voice for animals through proactive consumer education initiatives, cruelty investigations, corporate outreach, and legal advocacy.

11th – Doctor’s Without Borders

Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is an independent international medical humanitarian organization that provides aid to people in more than 70 countries whose survival is threatened by violence, neglect, or catastrophe, marily due to armed conflict, epidemics, malnutrition, exclusion from health care, or natural disasters.

Founded in 2010, Operation Supply Drop brings Veterans and Civilian Supporters together. We are the most-generationally relevant veteran support organization on the planet serving US, NATO and ANZAC veterans via 3 primary programs: The Teams, Supply Drops & Thank You Deployments.

Welcome to the Blog!

Hello everyone! Welcome to my first official blog post for!

I created this site so that you can follow me in my awesome, yet slightly weird adventures. You may remember me from my blog RossHoareDrama, which was my college Peforming Arts portfolio I created back in the day. (almost three years ago)

I stopped doing Drama at the beginning of the start of the last year, as I felt I needed to do something else, so instead I did… wait for it… IT! (Yep, very interesting) I’m, currently in my last year of the current course and then who knows.

I’ve been thinking about University and getting back into the Media side of things. Only half a year back, I went into Radio Presenting and now host Drive Time every Monday and Friday from 3PM GMT, with a Saturday show somewhere down the line.

Anyways, here is what I’m up to;

  • Hosting Drive Time on 105.9 Academy FM Folkestone
  • In my last year of College
  • Working on my Uni Application
  • Secret Project Involving PowerPoint? (More Info Soon)
  • Managing my Gaming and Vlog YouTube Channels, with my girlfriends channel coming up.

I’ll be doing updates when I can here, so make sure you follow and why not check out my social links!

Thanks guys!
